We adopted Rex at age 10 in February 2016 from SCGRR.  He lived to be 14 and we believe he had a great four years with us.  At the meet and greet, he dropped his beloved tennis ball in my lap and looked up at me.  I responded, “get in the car.  We are going home.”  We knew Rex needed a canine companion so we found him the perfect brother, Kiddo (who has since passed).  Rex introduced us to SCGRR and rescue.  We immediately became volunteers.  He enjoyed attending several SCGRR events.

Rex brought us joy with his need to have the tennis ball at all times.  He would whine and bark when the one he wanted was under the couch or outside his reach.  One of his favorite activities was to roll the ball to you with his nose and catch it on return.  All of our cats loved him and his quiet nature.

He was a great foster brother to a few dogs and he loved his brothers, Kiddo and Wicious.

We thank SCGRR from the bottom of our hearts for inviting us to be his forever family.  Run free and chase the balls.  Love you Rex.

Paul, Tycanne and Wicious
