Support International Golden Rescues

Together with our rescue partners in Turkey, South Korea, Taiwan and China, SCGRR works to bring beautiful and often abandoned Golden Retrievers to Southern California.  International Rescues are often very costly to the rescue as the dog can be the price of a full fare ticket if we do not have volunteers that are already...

Cork
Pet

Cork

Cork has existing medical issues and some behavioral issues to overcome. We decided on another family of prior adopters who recently lost their male dog, their female was also very depressed. Cork has filled that vacancy nicely and has fit in beautifully at their home.

Rogan
Pet

Rogan

Rogan was an owner surrender who came into rescue with a lot of anxiety and a bit history. Stars aligning, Rogan found a new family with experience in such areas, willing to work with him.  He is in the perfect forever home with lots of new adventures ahead.

Dune
Pet

Dune

Dune has been adopted to a family of prior adopters who recently lost a pup and their golden was missing her pal.  Dune has fit in perfectly and the dogs are having the time of their lives!

Seamus
Pet

Seamus

Seamus came to rescue via the shelter as a surrendered pup.  A bit of a nip-and-tuck to remove an unsightly (and non-cancerous) mass on his eyelid and he was ready for his forever home! Seamus (now Barcelona) gets to go to work everyday and enjoys lots of walks through the park.

Fundraiser for Cork

7+ year old Cork came in as a stray to Southern California Golden Retriever Rescue after he was found at a local shelter. Once we rescued him, our vet noticed a possible heart condition through basic vetting. He had labs, xrays and echocardiogram to determine a diagnosis. We took him to a cardiologist to read...
